LB Châteauroux v Dijon FCO 2:0 under 2 goals

Post by: kather on October 8th, 2008 | File Under bettingguide

hateau have the history with them.
From the latest 4 games they won 3 and drew 1:
6/4/07 2-1
11/11/05 1-1
6/12/04 2-1
28/4/04 2-0
So there is no balance within Chateua. They are different team then last season.
They have a 3-5-3 and 11-11 at home. They score an average one and conceed one goal.
With Dijon I dont think they will score over 1 goal the most.
Cause Dijon’s coach is proud that his team manage to loose once since the time that he is in it.
If a coach is proud of that he is looking not to loose and get a good stat on his record.
So he is trying as always to play defencive and when and if the time is wright should look for a win.
They have 10 draws and only 4 wins.
Away they have a 2-5-4 with 5-15 goals.
Also Chateau have only 2 games over at home (last 10)and Dijon have 4.
When two teams with the same gameplay they met I think that the result is a draw but I betting on under cause I think that is possible two.

Bolton-Portsmouth 0:1 Portsmouth 0(AH)

Post by: kather on October 8th, 2008 | File Under bettingguide

Bolton have escaped the drop zone, obtaining some positive results in their last few matches. But it might not last too long.Yes,they performed well lastly, but against who? They seem to have created a mini league that included all the bottom teams, and, at that moment could take advantage of them.Portsmouth is another type of team. They have been struggling lately, but everything has an end,and for them must be now.The main problem I think was the missing of key players. The situation seems to turn better as long as Papa Bouba Diop, Kanu and John Utaka are all back from the African Nations Cup.Mwaruwari had left, but transfer window also brought Milan Baros and in form striker Jermaine Defoe.

West Ham-Birmingham City 1:1 West Ham -0.5(AH)

Post by: kather on October 8th, 2008 | File Under bettingguide

West Ham prepare to meet Birmingham on Upton Park,on Sunday.Hosts have lost their last match to Wigan, evolving on the road.It was their unlucky day or maybe they deserved it.Seems that Wigan was too motivated to win.Anyway,West Ham is a strong team with good players who, thinking in terms of value, would clearly win.But I liked this match mostly because of Birmingham.Their form is poor, especially when they play on the road.In this case defence is their unique way to perform.Yes,it is annoying until you score, but I think West Ham will do it and will keep the result safe.

Eintracht Frankfurt v Arminia Bielefeld 2:1 Draw

Post by: kather on October 8th, 2008 | File Under bettingguide

In the last round in a tough away game in Berlin, Martin Fenin scored hat-trick on his debut for Frankfurt. Hertha won ten out of last eleven duels but this time Frankfurt had the best possible revenge. Coach Friedhelm Funkel also marked a convincing victory on his 700th performance in Bundesliga; formerly he performed as a player and now as a coach.

Their actual form shows that the game is win for St.Pauli or Draw.If Jena wins it would be a surprise or it would be bad luck for St.Pauli.

Montpellier HSC - Chamois Niortais FC 1:0 under 2.5 goals

Post by: kather on October 8th, 2008 | File Under bettingguide

Their new coach also stated that is going for a point today. That means that they are going to play very-very closed and as a new coach even if they are behind in the score I don’t think he will try to play attacking cause he is afraid of a high score.Don’t you forget that in the Cup the drew 0-0 with a team that I don’t know and they lost at penalties cause their goalkeeper was send off.

aston villa vs newscastle 4:1 aston villa to win

Post by: kather on October 8th, 2008 | File Under bettingguide

In its last 3 matches, Aston Villa didn’t pull a win, and you might think “hey, they’re downhill”. Well, that’s ’cause I selected only the last 3 games. The 3 previous matches before them, Villa won all of them. And talk about downhill, that’s Newcastle! Keegan still didn’t win so far.

Ivory Coast v Egypt 1:4 Ivory Coast -1.5

Post by: kather on October 8th, 2008 | File Under bettingguide

vory Coast showed best play so far in the Cup. They all play like one and have fun both on the field and outside of it. The quarterfinals held the easiest rival for them, Guinea, outmatched in all segments of play. They took an early lead, kept it and slowed the play down only to show their supremacy by scoring four goals in 15 minutes. On their way to the finals they will meet their old acquaintance – Egypt. Two years ago the Elephants lost to them in the finals played in Cairo in front of 80 000 fans, but now the situation is completely different. The duel will be played on neutral ground and based on their play so far Drogba and the mates are the favourites.

Ivory Coast v Egypt 1:4 Didier Drogba score

Post by: kather on October 8th, 2008 | File Under bettingguide

After two convincing wins in the group (Cameroon and Sudan), last two matches on this tournament were pretty weak for the players of Egypt. Actually, they needed only one point against Zambia but they had a lot of luck against Angola. Penalty and a bad call of Angola defense allowed Egypt to be in contention for the finals after two years. Two years ago, Egypt players celebrated in the finals so they will definitely give their best in this match so they can get a chance to fight for gold again.

Sunderland-Wigan 2:0 Sunderland (-0.25) AH

Post by: kather on October 8th, 2008 | File Under bettingguide

Again on Sunderland are offering great odds, but I want to say that this team on their own ground are playing just great for their name in Premier League, maybe they are poor in their away games, yes, but there is a big change when they are playing at home, all these things they already had proved from the begining of Premier League 2007-2008. IMO why Sunderland are playing so well “for their position in PL”, well I will say the motivation factor is the most important, where Roy Keane have the main role. All in all is not so important why these things are happening, important is that are happening. About Wigan, a team which improved recently in defense, but their attack is the same like before, Wigan will go with a defensive mind here and can close and block the game, but I simply can’t see them taking something from this one.

Bolton-Portsmouth 0:1 Portsmouth (0) AH

Post by: kather on October 8th, 2008 | File Under bettingguide

First, and the main reason for this bet is that Bolton are without thier ex-best player Nicolas Anelka, he had an important role as he had scored 10 goals for Bolton. Now the major problem for this team is clear their attack. About Bolton’s last game against Reading, match ended 0-2, a win that they don’t deserved, but where simply scored from the few chances they have created. About Portsmouth, I know they’ve been lucky this year in Premier League in many away games ex. the game against Aston Villa, but they improved their attack as now they have Jermain Defoe and Milan Baros in their squad, two great strikers. Defoe already scored a goal recently in the game against Chelsea, where Portsmouth played a good game and they deserved even 3 points from that game. All in all, Bolton at the moment without their ex-key player Anelka are more weaker than before and this thing can be seen from their play.

Derby-Tottenham 0:3 Tottenham (-1) AH

Post by: kather on October 8th, 2008 | File Under bettingguide

First game between these two teams ended 4-0 and it was a absolutely deserved win for Spurs as they had created so many chances to score and put Derby’s net in danger almost all the game. This year Derby are the most poor team in Premier League, no doubt about that, and their weak point is their defence, not their attack. So, this weak point is perfect for the visitors, cause we all know how offensive are Tottenham and that they can score ex. 5 goals in a game. I have watched Derby’s matches, they let many free spaces in their play and I think Tottenham will profit as they are experts on countra-attack and not only. First game was an easy one, a game where it was clear who will be the winner, but the fact that Derby will play at home in this one IMO is another advantage cause they will play more offensive and will let more free spaces. All in all, Tottenham have a coach with a very offensive mentality and his influence can be seen from team’s play, as I’ve seen them in a lot of games attacking while they where winning.

Washington Wizards vs San Antonio Spurs 77:85 Spurs -5.5

Post by: kather on October 8th, 2008 | File Under bettingguide

San Antonio Spurs have been picking up their form in their last 2 games after a few games on the slide and while they are currently on their road trip, they had shown yesterday that they are completely motivated by the signing of Damon Stoudemire who has proved to be a decent fit despite not getting a single dime last night.
