Ivanovic Hantuchova 0:6, 6:3, 6:4 Ivanovic to beat -4 games handicap

Hantuchova played great tournament, but i think that Ana is too strong for her. This kind of surface is great for Ana’s great serve and she show it against Venus. She didn’t lose set till now in Australia Open. Hantuchova had somehow easier schedule and i think this is going to be toughest match for her. Ana already played some tough games and she is feeling great in Australia.

For me it’s a hard bet but also it’s Australian Open semi-final so I got to write some words about it. In other semis for me Sharapova is dominating favorite and don’t think that Jelena Jankovic will survive Russian fire. In this match it going to be more interesting. I put away my feeling to Ana and her beauty and honestly I tell you that girl fully deserves for final. She is determinate and in quite optimal form to count with every player in WTA, nearly all because if Sharapova will still show her game I don’t think Ana or Daniela will be able to bite her even in a small way. In this match I trust in my almost whole year observation of Daniela’s and Ana’s game in 2007 and these ladies games in Melbourne in 2008. My heart was begging for Radwanska win but sadly she didn’t handle the pressure against Hantuchova. But with Ana the Slovakian girl will be in totally different situation because Ivanovic game is different than Radwanska, much harder for Daniela. In my opinion Daniela just don’t know how to play against agressive players with very hard hits. Kirilenko didn’t present any super tennis game, but she posses very strong bite and serve so she was able to crack a set and lead 3:0 in second but Daniela found a good solution and somehow won. Other matches with ’strong hit’ players? Safina, Vaidisova, Williams sisters and of course Ivanovic always against Hantuchova give her a lot of problems to handle this style of game. It doesn’t mean that she will go down quick, because she is really in nice form here in Australia, very quick movement on court and she increased much her psyche, which was her real problem year ago. I think that if Ana will hit hard in first set and win it, Hantuchova won’t be able to stand up. And as I know Ana motivation and pursuit for final she will start with hell speed and will try to crush Hantuchova service in first games. Ana posses much stronger hit and play more agressive, Hantuchova uses much more technique, cross hits, but if Ana will smash strong balls she won’t run long ball exchanges like with Radwanska. I hope Ana will give her best. In my opinion Hantuchova isn’t a player that keep for long her serve and if she give it up once she will do it more times. I bet around 6:2, 6:4 for Ana and will pray for that. Ou, yes, my dream final is coming. My two beloved players Ivanovic and Sharapova.

Djokovic Ferrer 6:0, 6:3, 7:5 Under 41.5 games

Djokovic didn’t lose a set on his way to quarter and he was great in every match. He is in great form, before this tournament he took some time off and that was good decision. On last Masters Final in China he was awful, firstly because tiredness. Last season was absolutely great season for Novak and he establishes himself as third player in the world. On hard surface he is only treat to Federer and he must win against Ferrer to get chance to prove it.

Novak Djokovic-Leyton Hewitt 7:5, 6:3, 6:3 Under Games 35.5

I am going here on under.Djokovic is playing great at the moment he hasn’t drop single game so far in AO.He is very confident in his serve and is well rested because he didn’t have any problems so far against any opponent. On the other side Hewit played last match against Marcos Baghdatis in 5 sets and beat him after a hard and long fight in match which lasted until 5 o’clock in the morning.Hewitt will be certainly tired and exsausted after this match and I see very small chances to him against well rested and fresh Djokovic.I also think that in this match Djokovic also wouldn’t drop single set and I expect to win by straight sets 3-0.Last time when this two players meet was in Belgrade in Davis Cup and Novak beat Hewitt 3-0.I also expect easy win and I decided that under games here is very good choice.

Andy Roddick v Philip Kohlschreiber 4:6, 6:3, 6:7, 7:6, 6:8 Roddick(-6)(games handicap)

Nalbandian and Hewitt let me down of late, and generally backing the favourites to cover such a big spread looks risky at AO.However,it’s only -6 today on Roddick, while I don’t see much of a difference between his clash and what’s happened a few days ago with the players above mentioned,so I think there has to be value.Roddick beat Lukas Dlouhy and Michael Berrer so far, both with 3-0(by 10 games and 7 games respectively),and generally he’s a solid player on hard and his serve is rather unstoppable most of the time.Just an example, against Berrer he only had ONE double fault the entire match, and has won 80% of the points on his 1st serve. If he does it again,I don’t see how Kohlschreiber who’s more a clay player can withstand.
