After his huge win over over Roddick, the German wunderkind turned into Goldschreiber, and I think he deserves all the praise he can get, because he is playing at very high level and probably tennis of his life. That makes him a solid favorite today the Nieminen, who is displaying some good tennis. Kohli is in really great form, his serve has been serving him well so far, he is hitting all the angles, so he has a huge number of winners. If we also add agressive play, we get a lethal player capable of beating anyone; and that’s how Kohli is performing right now. Nieminen had maybe more difficulties beating him opponents regarding who they were, but he is playing very well at the moment and he could be very dangerous for the opposition. His serve is also hard to break, he has good baseline play and well-balanced groundstrokes, so he will have his weapons to beat the German. These players met 6 times; Nieminem leads 4-2, but Kohli is playing tennis of his life and I see him winning today, especially now when his confidence must be very high after winning Roddick, but I don’t see doing it in straight sets, so the best option for me is Over in Games.

Nalbandian and Hewitt let me down of late, and generally backing the favourites to cover such a big spread looks risky at AO.However,it’s only -6 today on Roddick, while I don’t see much of a difference between his clash and what’s happened a few days ago with the players above mentioned,so I think there has to be value.Roddick beat Lukas Dlouhy and Michael Berrer so far, both with 3-0(by 10 games and 7 games respectively),and generally he’s a solid player on hard and his serve is rather unstoppable most of the time.Just an example, against Berrer he only had ONE double fault the entire match, and has won 80% of the points on his 1st serve. If he does it again,I don’t see how Kohlschreiber who’s more a clay player can withstand.

This is for me pick of the day in Nba.Sonics are playing very poor lately they are having much problems especially in offense. For this match it is expected to return two very good players for them Luke Ridnour and Chris Wilcox but is the question how much they can give to Sonics cause they were injured more than a month. They had very big problems in Friday at home against Dallas were they score only 70points which is very low.Lakers on the other hand are in form but tiredness in this match could be a important factor. They played last night against Memphis and beat them at home but with many problems. The result was 100-99.In this match their first center Andrew Bynum got injured and since then Lakers had many problems to keep their lead.He will not play today and that is a big loss for them.I see here Under as a good pick because of condition of Lakers players and Sonics lack of options In offense.
