On the other hand Redknapp makes another miracle in Premiership, this season with Pompeys. They are sitting at ninth table position with ambitions to be part of UEFA Cup competition next year. Obviously, team has potential and Portsmouth’s away results, so far, are for every compliment. Their Supporters believe in another good traveling even though they rival will be powerful United. One is sure, Harry Redknapp will stay with his attacking philosophy of football playing and I expect that Pomepeys won’t try to keep their sheet clean. One goal more from opponent will be their aim this time, too. New singings, Baros and Diarra, could bring extra strength to the team due to the fact that Kanu, Utaka, Muntari and Papa Boupa Diouf are at African Cup of Nations.

Man. Utd. vs. Portsmouth 2:0 Over 2,75

This is the important mid-week match for both clubs. Manchester has played great in this season so far, they are on the table top, points equal with Arsenal. Sir Alex Ferguson has composed perfect squad for this season and their results so far are prove of his announcement that this is the most powerful team he has ever managed. Red devils have recorded eleven consecutive victories at Old Trafford and it is the most likely that we can expect thirteenth win tonight. After they progressed at FA Cup last week, they will be concentrated on Premiership fully. January transfer window doesn’t bring new names to Old Trafford and it is hard to imagine which part of the team could be stronger with some new name.

David Nalbandian v Peter Luczak 4:6, 7:5, 6:4, 6:1 Nalbandian(-8 )(games handicap)

Going to back the third favourite in a row at this stage of the competition,I juts think the handicap should be much bigger here considering that Nalbandian is a solid player on any souface, and that he’s been so great in 2007,why not continue the run in 2008.He beat 6-1 6-1 7-6 Robert Smeets is his first official match of the season, and will be facing now Peter Luczak. The Australian might jave the crowd on his side, but even this way I don’t think he can create problems to world class players like Nalbandian.Luczak sent home Zabaleta in the first round, but the last was never great on hard, hence Luczak’s victory. Can only see a 3-0 victory for David, the handicap option is the call.
