AZ Alkemar - Sparta
Post by: admin on October 4th, 2008 | File Under bettingguideThe last round saw Bielefeld play great on the road against Frankfurt, from where they brought only one point although they were better during the most of the match. Karlsruher ended the losing spell by winning favoured Wolfsburg in front of their fans.
Bielefeld have gone last eight matches with Karlsruher without losing
A week after their first Bundesliga win, Bielefeld managed to take a point on the tough ground in Frankfurt. Of course, the hero of the game was teams’ top scorer Arthur Wichniarek, whose beautiful score saw his team take the lead from the very start. We should mention that Bielefeld didn’t have luck as after several missed chances they conceded in the very finish.
Coach Frontzeck will again be able to count on Kauf for this match as he has recovered form a minor injury. The doctors still haven’t determined if club’s best scorer Arthur Wichniarek will have to undergo an operation after his injury was renewed, so the management and the fans fear for their King Arthur. Just like in all of the game splayed so far, coach Frontzeck won’t back out on his offensive system with three forwards, so once gain the biggest threat for the opposing keeper will be attacking trio Wichniarek–Katongo–Halfar. Injured Fernandez and Mijatovic won’t be able to help their side.
Karlsruher haven’t taken a single point in three away games
Last season Karlsruher were one of the most dangerous visitors but they will definitely lose that label after the opening game sin the new championship, where they have a negative score so far. Karlsruher reached the second home win in the last round, this time over much stronger Wolfsburg against who they marked 100% efficiency. After a long break Porcello got on the score sheet, only for Freis to score the winning goal 15 minutes before time thus bringing three new points to his side. Karlsruher have 100% efficiency on home ground also.
Good news for the team is certainly the quick recovery of the keeper Markus Miller who will, as the club insists, miss the match in Bielefeld as they don’t want to risk his recent recovery. Last season’s bets striker Kennedy is also back in the team and he will start the match in tandem with Freis. The last time Karlsruher celebrated on this ground was about ten years ago and they certainly will try to repeat the success or take one point at least in order to end the negative run. Kapllani, Celozzi, Unger and Gorlitz won’t be able to help their side because they are injured.
Betting Verdict
Both sides took six points in the first five rounds, which is why they are above the relegation zone. Of course their primary aim is to survive and in order to do that they must play well against their direct rivals in the relegation battle. Although the tradition is on the side of the hosts, we should expect an open play from both sides which is why we recommend betting on goals here.
